Now Haruki! Tbh his MS falls flat in quite a few instances oh look, conveniently placed molester who never gets mentioned again, AND amnesia in the same plot? but Haru is such a good, caring boy I can't help but love him. Also he is hands down THE hottest boy in S2, fite me. Seeing him and MC grow together and fall in love was really sweet. Takeshi was a big surprise for me because normally the aloof characters are super boring, but he's really funny and thoughtful. He's really sweet when he wants to be, but especially in his MS he's pretty much just another tsundere. #DREAMY DAYS IN WEST TOKYO RIHITO SEASON 2 WALKTHROUGH PLUS#Plus I resonated pretty hard with the latter half of the plot because my partner and I were long distance for a long time. I really love Ichigo in his sequel because he all but discards his mean persona in favor of spoiling the MC and telling her his true feelings. Such a shame because he's actually my favorite above the other two. In S2 he looks like a creeper and in S3 he looks like an older creeper. This is so petty lol but I can't stand how Haru looks past S1. I've played all three guys' season 1, Ichigo's first S2 story, and little bits of both Haru and Takeshi's first S2 stories. This was one of the first Voltage games I played! My favorites are Ichigo, Haruki, and Takeshi, also played Jo's and Ryuzo's main stories and felt kinda eh about them. Although, I’m a bit hesitant to play the latter because he seems too bland? (Someone prove me wrong, tho.) I might consider going back to it to play Ichigo or Haruki’s route. Season 2 was much better, including his design! Maybe the fact that he’s a very brotherly character so it was difficult for me to see him as LI. somewhat boring? I was pretty turned off in the beginning when he was like wait a min what’s your name? Season 1 Ryuzo was meh. There’s a specific CG in season 2 where he’s hovering above the MC, taking his clothes off-ya girl had to take a water break cuz whew it got hot real quick. I remember I like Rihito a lot because of the fact that the MC mistook him as a girl when they were young and he grew up really flirty and the opposite of what she expected lmao. That being said, I only played Rihito’s (S1-3) and Ryuto’s (S1 & S2) bc l was broke lol. The story is not anything special but the fact that it followed the characters throughout their young adult to adulthood also got my attention! I’m a huge sucker for childhood friends tropes so I was quite invested in this series. Ooh finally a book club session I can attend!ĭDIWT was one of the first Voltage games that really kicked off my otome games journey so it’s quite special to me. He's a flirty type though, and somewhat hung up on the fact that he is younger so he isn't quite enough to justify a purchase from me. I've read a bit of Rihito in the special stories as well, and he's pretty intriguing as he's younger than the MC and was mistaken for a girl as a child by the MC. #DREAMY DAYS IN WEST TOKYO RIHITO SEASON 2 WALKTHROUGH FREE#I don't think I even finished his route when it was free tbh. Ryuzo also had mixed signals too, so much I was so bored with his route, despite his type of character, the brash kind older brother type. MC has so many mixed signals to work off here, which does get better in later stories. The majority of Ichigo's story arc is based on his angst about his future as a pastry chef and inheriting his father's shop, which unfortunately means that the romance is more lacking than I would have liked. It takes quite a bit for the MC to break though, and for the romance to actually progress. ![]() He's a tsundere, and more angsty and closed off than the others. ![]() ![]() Ichigo is the most popular despite the fact he's not quite the poster boy (perfect ace Haruki seems to be) he definitely features more than the others. I've read the main stories of Ichigo and Ryuzo when they were free, and bought Haruki based on his presence in Ichigo's route. ![]() It's really slice of life and rather grounded, with an emphasis on personal relationships family, friends and lover. The great thing about this title is the fact that the story actually goes all the way from high school romance to the wedding, spanning more than 10 years, and the sprites change as well. I like the MC here too, but she's an everyday sort of girl who is a bit tomboyish and stubborn. In this case though, the childhood friendship is centered on the elementary school period, which is shown in frequent flashbacks in the stories (it is super adorable). I do love the concept though it's like a high school version of My Last First Kiss, where everyone is your childhood friend. Dreamy Days in West Tokyo is another older title, and it does show in the writing, which is rather simple and unadorned. ![]()
